Eat from the FARM not a factory
That has been my motto for years. If you want to get the MAXIMUM nutrition from what you put into your mouth every day. Then YOU want to Eat FROM the FARM not a factory.
Today it is often difficult to distinguish the difference. We consume so much fast and convenient food that is not "real" food. In fact, it is DEAD, lifeless goo.
You want LIVING nutrition that gets its ENERGY from the sun and its nutrients from mother earth. Not leftover dust and chemicals from a factory.
Want to know what you are actually eating? Read the label. If you can't easily identify it as a living organism or if you can't easily pronounce the words, put it DOWN. It is DEAD. I prefer foods that do not require a label. Single ingredient, HIGHLY nutritious and delicious LIVING food.
Example: I choose the WHOLE apple not apple juice. WHY? Because the juice has been fortified (added) with sugars and tap water, where as the WHOLE apple is a single ingredient with loads of nutrition. Compare the calories, vitamins, and minerals in each and you, too will pick the WHOLE apple. Because, whole food contains lots of natural easy-to-digest FIBER.
Ever hear how much FIBER you need to survive and thrive each day? Look it up. What about the recommended sugars, whether natural or processed, you need each day? You certainly don't need to add any tap water to a WHOLE apple it contains plenty to move that fiber through your system easily.
